Due to the continuously increasing covid cases in India, the government has decided to cancel the 10th and postponed the 12th exams. Now the question arises Is the decision of cancelling the board exams is reasonable?? Education Ministry has said that the evaluation of marks of 10th class students will be based on objective criteria (internal assessment). Also, the government has given an option to those students who are not satisfied with their assessments, they can give the exams. Then a suitable time will be selected for them. Secondly, on the postponing of the 12th exams, the govt doesn't seem much clear because they have said that they will re-evaluate the situation on 1 June. But here also students are expecting that their exams will also be canceled like 10 class.
