The vociferous but kind-hearted monk who represented the ancient Indian culture in the 'World Parliament of Religions' and popularised the core of our Civilisation by enunciating his famous call 'Sisters and Brothers of America',  he not only presented the intrinsic and fundamental values of India to the world but also strived to unfetter the holy land of Bharat from the shackles of irrational superstitions and orthodox prejudices. We all either remember him as a generous monk who established Ramakrishna Mission to help the needy and the poor or as a social reformer who endeavoured to eradicate the social evils that were prevailing in our country during that period along with his contemporaries. How to elect a better candidate??

We have certain rights in our life ,that we enjoy to make our life better. One of the most important right is, right to vote. But during elections how responsibly we vote? Just ask yourself. I believe there is a certain pattern followed by almost every voter. While choosing a candidate, a voter give preference to those candidates who belong to his caste. If none candidate belong to his caste, he search out for a candidate who follow the same religion followed by him.  Secondly if he found more than one candidate who belong to his caste or religion, then he focuses on name of political parties the candidate belongs to. And in most of the cases voters figure out the back record of the political party that how they have treated the people of their caste and religion in past.  If still the voter cannot decide that, to whom he should vote he go through their policies and programs. And believe me a very less number of voters reach to the stage.  This is the system followed by mos
