Major causes behind Naxalite movement.

Naxalite movement, one of the biggest threat to India's internal security, within India. Today, we will go through the major causes behind this movement. To know what is Naxalite movement click here.

1. Lack of land reforms: there are a lot of systems made by Britishers which are still followed by our administrative system or government. And one of them was zamindari system. After independence, the poor villagers were exploited by the landlords and zamindars. At last 20 poor villagers decided to revoult against them. And soon this revolt turned into armed revolt.

2. Ignoring marginalised section of society: before independence tribal section of society suffered a lot because of forest laws, they were forced to leave their home. Even after independence, government did not look out for this section. Edit lost their trust on the government was over.

3. Ideology of communism: "if you don't reach to your people someone else will". And same happened, those organisations who wanted to spread unrest in India, started supporting the revolt in every aspect financial, arms and ammunition, technical and ideological too.

4. Unemployment and poverty: these poor villages for mostly the daily wage workers who earn everyday to feed themselves. There was no other option for them except labour. Due to poverty they were helpless. And if someone is hungry then his start snatching the food to feed himself. This is what happened there.

5. Gap between locals and administration: the administration of the respective areas ignored this problem and simultaneously locals lost their faith in administration. This gap become wider with the passage of time.

6. Mining: naxalite active states of full of resources such as coal. Mining is the only way to take out the call for use. Mining is an activity which leads to displacement of native to other places. But government didn't focus on the problems faced by them during displacement. No proper concession, no proper facilities for them, nothing.
