Tesla in India?

Recently, very exciting news has come that tesla is coming to India this year (2021).

Tesla is one of the top and amazing electric car manufacturing companies in the world.

There are a lot of companies in the market that are making cars but Tesla is different because it is making future cars.

Tesla cars have amazing features such as autopilot in which you just have to fill the destination in the system and cars will drive themselves.

Tesla can achieve 0 to 100 kilometers per hour speed in just 3 seconds.

It can pull the Boeing plane so you can imagine its power.

Due to running on electricity, it's petrol, diesel expenses are zero. So it is eco-friendly as well as pocket-friendly.
The cost of Tesla Model 3 in India is estimated to be 60 lakh due to 100% import duty because they are completely built up from outside and will be delivered here.

But the government of India says that assemble cars in India and due to that job opportunities will increase and the price of cars will also drop.

The problem here is that Tesla cars and their parts are manufactured in China because of mines of lithium sources and lithium is very necessary for batteries of these cars.

But India doesn't have a large number of lithium resources so we have to import that if we want to start manufacturing units here.

Facts

- The environmental damage while making batteries for EV is much more than the damage from making a level of cars and this is a fact.

- Also, India is producing electricity by burning coal which itself is a pollutant.

Then why EV?

- These are more efficient as compared to petrol diesel cars

- We import crude oil last year worth 7,28,112 crores. These cars will decrease our dependence on crude oil.

- Our companies such as Tata Ashok Leyland manufacturing electric cars and buses. And these companies can also collaborate with Tesla.

- Report of Niti aayog says that India could achieve high penetration of EV by 2030.

- Where 80%of two-wheelers and 30% of private cars will be electric.

how Uttarakhand glacier burst?

Introduction: The very unfortunate news has come from the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand where a part of the Nanda Devi glacier is broken which caused the flood. Until now 15 people have lost their lives and 100+ are missing and very heavy destruction have happened to two hydropower plants. This is not the first time, this has reminded us of the disaster of 2013 and it's not the last event. In the coming time, this kind of disaster will be more frequent due to climate change. We are not very clear that what happened in Chamoli and why. But some experts think that behind this disaster there is a phenomenon of GLOF (Glacial Lake outburst flood) Let us try to understand. What is a glacier? The collection of a very huge amount of ice for a very long time in a particular area where that ice does not melt due to the climatic conditions of that area.
