How to elect a better candidate??

We have certain rights in our life ,that we enjoy to make our life better. One of the most important right is, right to vote. But during elections how responsibly we vote? Just ask yourself.

I believe there is a certain pattern followed by almost every voter.

While choosing a candidate, a voter give preference to those candidates who belong to his caste. If none candidate belong to his caste, he search out for a candidate who follow the same religion followed by him.

Secondly if he found more than one candidate who belong to his caste or religion, then he focuses on name of political parties the candidate belongs to. And in most of the cases voters figure out the back record of the political party that how they have treated the people of their caste and religion in past.

If still the voter cannot decide that, to whom he should vote he go through their policies and programs. And believe me a very less number of voters reach to the stage.

This is the system followed by most of the voters, who vote through there inner conscience. I am excluding all the voters who sell vote for any materialistic thing or money.

Criteria of preference
1. Caste / religion
2. Political party
3. Policies / Programs

This criteria of preferential system of voting is the reason that we are a developing country not a developed one yet.

Because we know that leadership decides the direction and momentum of development of a country.

In horse race, horse speed play a less important role than the riders strategy.

It's never too late to improve your mistakes. We can provide a better leadership to our country by following the criteria of rpeference from bottom to top.

While going through the policies and programs we should also thoroughly analyse the background of the candidate.

Some of you might believe that we should completely eliminate the caste and religious preference but in a diverse country like India it is nearly impossible.

Political parties should also make some structural changes. Most of the time they are failed in providing a meaningful choice to the voters. If they provide tickets to only those candidates whose background and intentions are clear. This reform will definitely transform the future of India.

India's literacy rate is 74.4% according to the 2011 census, which contains 82.14% for males and 65.46% for females. Any Indian citizen who is 18yrs old and above has the right to vote and contest the election.13 Dec 1989 was the date when the starting age was reduced to18yrs from 21yrs. There is a constitutional body in India that handles the whole election procedure from the election of Prime Minister to Sarpanch. When India became independent thousands of questions arose in the minds of constitution-makers. One major question among all these was- Should illiterate people have the right to vote? We know that voting is a very big responsibility in a democracy. After a lot of debates and arguments, the decision was taken and voting right was also given to illiterate citizens. Arguments in favor  1. By not providing them the right to vote, we are violating their right to equality. 2. An illiterate voter can distinguish between genuine promises and false promises.  3...

What is a glacier? The collection of a very huge amount of ice for a very long time in a particular area where that ice does not melt due to the climatic conditions of that area. Example mountain 🏔️ tops, Alaska and Iceland. Due to the regular deposit of ice, its weight increases continuously which leads...
