Corruption is the amount we pay for democracy?

According to the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), India's ranking is 86th among the 179 countries.

In India, only 1.6% of citizens pay income tax.
And from these data, we can imagine the corruption level in India.

India cannot develop with these statistics.
A study conducted by Transparency International in 2005 resulted that, more than 62% of Indian citizens had at least once, paid a bribe to a public official, to get a job done.

The biggest contributor to corruption is the social programs and schemes enacted by the Indian government like NREGA, MNREGA & NRHM.

There are a lot of Indian citizens who have millions of rupees in their Swiss bank accounts but they are not accountable to anyone, why?

Some very famous scams :
1. 2010 commonwealth games scam
2. Adarsh housing society scam
3. Coal mining scam
4. Cash for vote scam.

The causes of corruption in India include excessive regulation, complicated taxes, and licensing system's lack of transparent laws and processes.

Why a bureaucrat takes a bribe?

A bureaucrat of India who enjoys a good salary, good resident, better lifestyle takes bribes because of greed and this never ends.
The greed of money takes the hard-earned money of a common man, why?
This also questions the legitimacy selection process of bureaucrats either clerk or IAS officer.

Why people give bribes?

We are living in a society, where it is set in our mind that not a single work can be done in our administrative system without a bribe.
Also, a traffic rule breaker who is fined Rs. 1000 can be easily released by paying 50% of the amount in the pocket of traffic inspectors.

Impact of corruption -

+ Higher the corruption, lower the development.
+ Higher the corruption, higher the poverty
+ Higher the corruption, higher the greediness in the officials.
+ Higher the corruption, higher the economic loss
+ Higher the corruption, higher the Mafia Raj
+ Higher the corruption, higher the black money
+ Higher the corruption, higher the starvation
+ Higher the corruption, higher the criminalization of politics.
+ economic inequality.

Solutions-

One-stop solution to this problem lies behind the motive of this problem.
As I earlier mentioned that bureaucrats take bribes mostly for their future generation means their kids.
Then we have to come up with a change that whenever any bureaucrats are found convicted then it should be mentioned in their upcoming generations' report card and degrees.
This decision will certainly stop the officials to not to take the bribe.

Other solutions-
+ Lokpal, Lokayukta
+ Anti-Corruption Board
+ Digitalization of money
+ More awareness.

voting rights to illiterate-logical or not??

India's literacy rate is 74.4% according to the 2011 census, which contains 82.14% for males and 65.46% for females. Any Indian citizen who is 18yrs old and above has the right to vote and contest the election.13 Dec 1989 was the date when the starting age was reduced to18yrs from 21yrs. There is a constitutional body in India that handles the whole election procedure from the election of Prime Minister to Sarpanch. When India became independent thousands of questions arose in the minds of constitution-makers. One major question among all these was- Should illiterate people have the right to vote? We know that voting is a very big responsibility in a democracy. After a lot of debates and arguments, the decision was taken and voting right was also given to illiterate citizens. Arguments in favor  1. By not providing them the right to vote, we are violating their right to equality. 2. An illiterate voter can distinguish between genuine promises and false promises.  3. Som
