Lessons

1. You must be clear about, why.

As earlier Abhilash was not sure that why he wanted to become an IAS and he was not motivated much. But once Sandeep bhaiya asked him to find the answer of why, everything started getting clear in his mind and this answer of why also motivate him during the whole preparation.

2. Always be ready to swim opposite the flow

When Abhilash was confused that which subject is best for him in optional he was thinking about scoring subjects which are usually chosen by toppers. Then again Sandeep bhaiya guided him that one should take that subject which excites him the most, not that which is taken by most of the aspirants.

3. Failures are necessary.

Failure is one of the most important phase of everyone's life as it teaches us much more important things than success itself. Every topper will tell what to do but every failed one will tell what not to do.

4. Unworthy sacrifice

Every serious UPSC aspirant sacrifice parties and other distractions for a dream and it is okay, but sacrificing your family, friends and love is not worth that at all.

5. Positive approach

The biggest lesson that we learn from this series is that always look things and situation with a positive approach. Abhilash was earlier very confused but when he was guided by Dhairya then he started looking things with the positive approach. Psitive approach also helps to sustain energy, motivation and positivity in our mind and attitude throughout the preparation.

Any Indian citizen who is 18yrs old and above has the right to vote and contest the election.13 Dec 1989 was the date when the starting age was reduced to18yrs from 21yrs. There is a constitutional body in India that handles the whole election procedure from the election of Prime Minister to Sarpanch. When India became independent thousands of questions arose in the minds of constitution-makers. One major question among all these was- Should illiterate people have the right to vote? We know that voting is a very big responsibility in a democracy. After a lot of debates and arguments, the decision was taken and voting right was also given to illiterate citizens. Arguments in favor  1. By not providing them the right to vote, we are violating their right to equality. 2. An illiterate voter can distinguish between genuine promises and false promises.  3...
