Stress and Depression!!

"There was a moment when I felt as if I was falling in a well. The deeper I was going the darker it appeared. The light that I could see was gradually fading and I feel helpless and eventually, I fall."

"A moment when I don't realize that I was alive or dead. I was not feeling anything good, anything happening. I was just liked to be alone, didn't want to talk. And my thoughts seem buried inside me. I was lost in the midst."

These two above-mentioned statements are of those two people who were suffering from severe depression and also tried to commit suicide. But they fought and overcome. They have tried to describe what they were feeling during that misery.

In today's blog, we will talk about mental health.

In India between the age group of 15-30yrs what kills most people after accidents are suicides

According to research recently, every one out of four patients that visited their family doctors was diagnosed with mental illnesses. Anxiety and depression were the biggest illnesses among them.

What does Schizophrenia mean?

It is a very serious mental illness. It has a few symptoms such as one lost his conscience and differentiates him from the real world. You also feel that someone is talking to you or calling you when you are alone, this is known as hallucination.

When some people are scared that someone is trying to kill them or conspiring against them is called delusion.

What is Paranoia?

When you start doubting everything due to delusion.

Why this kind of illness increasing day by day?

Our emotional interaction has reduced and this disconnection leads to stress.
Stress leads to unnecessary aggression on the streets and loss of inner conscience.

Today, we are following that kind of lifestyle which puts us in this vicious cycle which ends with depression.

1. A student faces a lot of study pressure because a sense of competition is installed in his mind by his parents and society. He studies for hours and hours and when doesn't get the required result, he feels depressed. Because no one appreciates the efforts he made.

2. Youngsters are stressed about the expectations of their families. Take the responsibilities, get a good job, settle in your life. He doesn't get the time to live freely.

3. Working people who don't enjoy their work feel stressed about the load of work. If you are doing something which does not excite you, then it is obvious that you will be stressed soon and feel exhausted.

All these mental illnesses have proper treatment through counseling and medicines.
Laughter is the best way to reduce stress.
Sharing things with others is the best way to overcome depression

Any Indian citizen who is 18yrs old and above has the right to vote and contest the election.13 Dec 1989 was the date when the starting age was reduced to18yrs from 21yrs. There is a constitutional body in India that handles the whole election procedure from the election of Prime Minister to Sarpanch. When India became independent thousands of questions arose in the minds of constitution-makers. One major question among all these was- Should illiterate people have the right to vote? We know that voting is a very big responsibility in a democracy. After a lot of debates and arguments, the decision was taken and voting right was also given to illiterate citizens.
