What is Generation gap??

The contrast of ideas due to age difference. For example, the children of new generation started refusing to follow the stereotypes. This is due to the development of scientific and analytical thinking among new generation with technological development. Earlier, on the name of job opportunities parents just take a few professions such as doctors, engineers as successful but with technological advancement children of new generation started involving in other business opportunities like YouTube, digital marketing, photography, arts, painting etc. which created an invisible gap.

Children are using smartphones from the very beginning of their life but parent generation got used to with technology in recent years, this create difference in understanding and perspective towards technology. Basically, children also feel that investment of their time into technology is more profitable instead of family time. This leads the decrease in the communication among parents and the children that is communication gap. Also our parents generation is very interested in comparison of their children with other's. The present generation is more hyper as compared to the last generations which caused revolution in every aspect. Earlier, generations didn't question that much from the parents but present generation is always ready with the question mark in their mind. They born with the habit of not accepting things easily. The previous generation take social order very seriously but the present young generation just do what they feel. "Log kya kahenge" is very famous dialogue of the parents but the new generation do not focus on this, they just focus on following their passion and interest. Our new generation want to become independent as soon as possible, independent in financial and decision making way. And some where this new generation is capable to turn their passion into profession.

Must watch

But still the question is that can we do something to reduce this generation gap??

  1. the solution of the problem lie in the problem, to reduce the generation gap we need to reduce the communication gap first. This can be possible only when parents talk to their kids as a friend.

Any Indian citizen who is 18yrs old and above has the right to vote and contest the election.13 Dec 1989 was the date when the starting age was reduced to18yrs from 21yrs. There is a constitutional body in India that handles the whole election procedure from the election of Prime Minister to Sarpanch. When India became independent thousands of questions arose in the minds of constitution-makers. One major question among all these was- Should illiterate people have the right to vote?
